Best Places to Work: 2018 (#97)
I have been working at Liberty National full-time (Less than a year)
Solid sales training.
Can make a great living if you are willing to put in the work.
Simple tools needed to do the job - car, smartphone, laptop, pens. You don't need to invest a lot of money upfront beyond paying for gas to go on your sales calls.
Great work/life balance. - If you need time off, just let your manager know. You ultimately control your own calendar and your own book of business. How you schedule your appointments and structure your days is really up to you.
Some minor frustrations with systems, but nothing to raise a fuss about.
Because it is a 1099 position, there are no benefits or paid time off. Not necessarily a con, but important for folks to know.
Advice to Management
None at this time.
I applied online. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Liberty National (Houston, TX) in March 2018.
Very well done--staff and interviewers were very professional and informative. Presentation by the Agency Owner was very well done and honest. Stressed being motivated and potential to help many people and have a rewarding career.
