Great bonus structure -
Bonus is promised - then paid at the discretion of the owners. In some cases it was not paid at all. 1099 Employees were not paid according to contracts - in some cases over 90 days late, or not paid at all. Little to no collaboration. Juvenile internal business processes often governed at the whim of ownership. Read up on lawsuits between LTA and other companies/individuals; there are many, they are recent and they demonstrate the lack of integrity of those who run things.
Advice to Management
Act with integrity. Demonstrate competence and recognize loyalty and talent.
I applied online. I interviewed at Liberty Technology Advisors.
I met the owner and was asked to do personal favors for him during the interview. I thought it was a joke. However, I did end up running personal items for his wife to another family members house. The first interview was 6 months before I joined. After the interview I thought we were moving forward quickly. We didn't. It took 6 months of missed appointments, missed calls, another emergency etc. When I finally had a contract and start date it had to be pushed a few more days for another "emergency" situation.
