In 1970, Forrest L. Preston, chairman and CEO, opened the first facility, and today, Life Care operates more than 210 skilled nursing facilities in 28 states and employs more than 38,000 associates. Rooted in a Judeo-Christian ethic, two foundational principles were at play, then and now:

Excellent rehab and clinical programs. Although I am a current employee I was also a resident in one of the centers. I cannot express how caring the staff was. I am proud to be part of such a wonderful organization.

I applied online. I interviewed at Life Care Centers of America (Longmont, CO) in June 2014.
It was a basic interview. They asked questions about my qualifications and experience. They also asked questions about patient treatment in certain situations. There was a tour of building followed by a discussion of pay/benefits expectation. I was hired on site.
