Technical Account Manager
Being a woman in tech, I only recently started advocating for myself at work about advancement opportunities. Because of this I wanted to ask this question to my male counterparts. When you have 1:1's with your direct reports and talk about career growth / aspirations what is your managers’ response typically? I’d like to gauge how my experience (negative) differs from others. For instance are you met with blockades, enthusiasm, dread, etc?

What are your colleagues talking about?
Liftoff is a true people-first company. From offering opportunities for advancement, excellent benefits and perks that are above industry standard (a monthly wellness stipend, additional mental health and family planning support along with excellent parental leave benefits among other things), the company does an amazing job of creating a safe and tight-knit community where sharing of ideas is encouraged and promoted.
This isn't a con but a general observation, as with any company that experiences high growth in a short amount of time, there is some chaos that results in a fast-paced environment and frequent changes. The company does a great job of communicating these and providing opportunities as a result of those changes.

InterviewApplied through the company site to a job I was more than qualified for, was contacted by a recruiter who wanted availability for an initial phonescreen. Was completely ghosted by the recruiter. 0/10, would not recommend, don't trust the job posting from this employer they are untrustworthy and do not respect candidates' time.Interview
