I have been working at Liftoff (Palo Alto, CA) full-time (More than a year)

This is a really great company to work for in terms of the culture and projects. Growth as an engineer is very rapid here, and you will find yourself contributing significant amounts of work pretty quickly. The engineering team here is incredibly strong and are some of the best at that I've worked with. The work is demanding, but down time and time off are respected here. This is a very good job for people that know how to manage their time and are self-motivated.

Structure and protocols are still being created and solidified, so there's a lot of freedom and independence very quickly. While that might generally be a good thing, more structure and guidance might benefit some employees.

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Liftoff (Palo Alto, CA) (Palo Alto, CA) in May 2018.

The first interview was with the recruiter. She asked a lot of general questions, also be prepared for very direct questions - desired compensation, if you were interviewing with other companies and which stage, how to sell their product (BE FAMILIAR WITH THE PRODUCT AND THE TERMS).
Next step would be a writing exercise which would take up to 2-hour to complete.
Moving forward I had another interview with the director of the department. The questions covered my past experience, my goals, why Liftoff and such. I also asked a lot of questions about Liftoff's value, mission and, vision -company goals, employee supports(personal and professional), etc.

I needed to work remotely first few months, which they didn't offer at the moment.
