I worked at Lindblad Expeditions full-time

    Pros

Travel benefits, health care, 401k. Also, get to experience what the guests experience on your time off. Whales, monkeys, bears, etc..

    Cons

Gone for 8 months of the year. Work every day, 12 hour days while on the ship.

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Lindblad Expeditions in August 2016.

    Interview

I knew someone who had worked on the boats before. I filled out an application online and received a phone call months later ( I wasn't available to start for a few month after filling out the application). They do a phone interview, check your references, and then I received a phone call about a week later with a job offer.
I may take awhile to get an interview or hear back about a job offer, but once you receive a job offer things move QUICK!

    Interview Questions

    • How do you communicate with other? Living quarters are small and you will have 2 other roommates. If you can downstairs are there were clothing and stuff all over, how would you handle the situation?
What are your strengths and weaknesses?   Answer Question
