  1. Behavior Therapist Interview

    Negative Experience
    Difficult Interview
    Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Lionrock Recovery (United States) in Nov 2022

    Interview

The process was very high pressure with calls, texts and emails from the recruiter which concluded in a group interview and fake group counseling session. The fake group counseling session consisted of internal actors pretending to be newly sober via Zoom to judge the candidates presentation and skills. They asked directly if I have a personal history of drug and alcohol use in the interview which I'm not sure if that's legal! It seems like they were just taking my time through the process without considering me as a person or a candidate.
    Interview

Why are you a therapist, do you have a personal history of recovery, what's your experience with substance use.
