I have been working at Lisa Academy full-time (More than a year)
LISA West Midle has very helpful administration. Principal and both assistant principals are very understanding and work alongside teachers on all the duties. Your children get into LISA schools without going through lottery. Aftercare and LISA-sponsored clubs are free for teachers' children.
You HAVE TO take charge of a club of your choice (unless you're a Math or English teacher), which takes a lot of your time. The hours are early as well- you have to be at work at 7:10. You have to work on some holidays, like Columbus Day and Veterans Day.
Advice to Management
Let all campuses start work at the same time. It might make it easier to drop off and pick up kids this way.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lisa Academy (Little Rock, AR) in June 2017.
I was called by the Fine Arts Coordinator, Joann Koehler. She called me while I was on vacation and we did a phone interview for 3 different music positions. I didn't get any of the jobs. I honestly felt as I was overqualified and would have been an assistant at one of the jobs. The principals from each of the 3 different schools were in on the interviews. They asked me questions as Joann Koehler was more of the contact person and original administrator that I first spoke with.
