I worked at Litmus Group full-time

For over 20 years the Litmus Group has provided consulting services to its clients across all Australian States, Territories, Singapore and various overseas destinations as part of Cordence Worldwide.

Due to the merger with PwC the Litmus Group brand will disappear from the market as from 1 August 2018.

From humble beginnings with founders coming from Ernst & Young, it now seems the circle is closed with Litmus returning to the land of the Big 4. During this journey Litmus has made a name for itself by serving clients with distinction and always being true to the values that have guided Litmus since the beginning. Our focus on strategy execution whereby Litmus partners help clients translate their strategic intent into outcomes, has never been more noticeable in the utilities sector.

Throughout this journey it has been a privilege to work with fantastic clients who appreciate the value-based approach Litmus has applied in all situations. Thank you to those great clients.

    - Fantastic culture
    - Great clients
    - Strong leadership
    - fantastic IP
    - International relationships via Cordence
    - ability to transfer Overseas to Cordence firms
    - best utilities sector knowledge in Australia

    Difficult Interview

I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Litmus Group (Singapore (Singapore)).

Applied online and got a call two weeks later. It was a screening call asking qns like:
    - introduce yourself/career plans
    - why do you want to work here
    - what are your goals, strengths
    - what do you know about the company
    - what experiences do you have similar to the applied position (leadership etc)

2nd face to face interview with an exec consultant and partner
    - small take
    - introduce yourself
    - why do you wanna work here
    - what experiences do you have similar to the applied position (leadership, managing clients, team etc)
    - how can you add value to the role
    - ten minute: write key activities to a project management question
    - case study: 45 mins project management/costing/schedule (left alone to work it out)
    - 15 mins presentation to executive and partner

It was a fairly quick selection process. One month from initial call to final outcome. The exec and partner were really nice. Answered all questions I had. Emails were replied to. Pleasant experience. Feedback was given as to why I didnt get the job (I screwed up case study. Answered from a technical (IT) perspective instead of PM) and was given closure 1.5 weeks after my interview. 99.99999% of HR don't tell you that you didnt get the job. They wont even reply to your email if you ask the outcome. So Litmus rep replying the outcome was a pleasant surprise. Good processes in place.
