I have been working at Living Spaces part-time (Less than a year)
Living Spaces is a company that wants you to grow for yourself and understands your own needs. They'll help you with your ambitions like it's their own. Competitive pay and a job like no other really pushes you to prove to yourself all of the great work you can do!
Although being non commission, there are some leaders who push numbers like they are on commission. Living Spaces wants to do thing for customers not to them, but some employment just want a high number in their sales.
Advice to Management
Keep positive people in management and don't make numbers everything, They are a big part of any company, but not if it drives members away.
I applied online. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at Living Spaces (Glendale, AZ) in February 2017.
Living Spaces requires you to complete a questionnaire at the end of their online application process, I submitted my application 01/15/17. I then heard from an operations supervisor on 01/31/17. This contact was not an interview offer. 02/02/17 I was contacted by a sales manager in regards to an interview. Multiple interview time slots were available for the following day (02/03/17). I was told to enter the building through the customer pick up area. I was greeted and told to wait until the manager could come over, it took less than 10 minutes and every associate I spoke with was very friendly. The sales manager (N) and I sat in the back of the store on some of the display furniture, N was very kind to me, took incredible interest in what I had to say. The interview went very well and would have hopefully ended in a job offer BUT.....
I wasn't actually presented with an offer due to the fact that I am a medical marijuana patient. Although N was understanding, he couldn't offer me the position due to legality issues.
