Mission: At Logi Analytics, we are reimagining how software can empower people, organizations, and products to create, share, and benefit from analytics.
We began with a vision that the web could transform how people see and use data. In 2000, CTO Arman Eshraghi founded Logi Analytics, formerly LogiXML, to develop technology that lets web developers easily embed compelling data visualizations inside websites. Soon we developed a reputation for having the easiest and most reliable technology for creating web-based data visualization. This core technology evolved into the Logi Info platform, providing an extraordinarily fast and agile way to embed business analytics into any application.
Today, our technology supports the BI initiatives of over 1,700 companies around the globe. We believe our customers work hard to hire smart, motivated employees at every level. So why not also give them access to the business intelligence they need to reach their potential and move the company forward? It’s what led us to create products that bring analytics everywhere, and we lead our industry in addressing the spectrum of self-service needs – from dashboards to ad hoc reporting to visual analysis – so anyone and everyone can make smarter business decisions.
I have been working at Logi Analytics full-time (Less than a year)
The best part about Logi are the people. They are amongst the most dedicated, creative and collaborative people I've ever worked with. The various teams all work together in an ego-free environment that eliminates any potential drama sometimes experienced at growing companies. Honestly, the people there respect each other, they want to do well for each other and they are genuinely nice. When I first started and was told about the company's values I took it as flowery HR language but the company and people really do value work-life balance, recognize hard work and offer an honest environment in which to work. One other great aspect of the company is the willingness of senior management to give autonomy to the various departments and employees allowing them to grow and shine while also giving credence to the opinions of those throughout the organization. I've felt a part of things since shortly after starting and truly believe that my opinion matters. I couldn't be happier that I took the role and look forward to a long career at Logi. There is a lot to like about working here - you will feel valued and respected and really like your co-workers.
I don't have many complaints but it's hard to really accept positives without negatives so if I were to highlight one thing it would be the benefits - specifically the 401K match. It's fairly minor and it takes 3-years to vest. So, unless you plan to be at Logi for the long haul it may not factor much into your plans. Also, while the company offers flexible hours (to be in the office) they don't have official support for work from home - which I know some employers offer. It wasn't an issue for me but it is something to note for those that value this.
Advice to Management
Keep being inclusive of your employees, listening to their feedback and making them feel valued.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Logi Analytics (Tyson's Corner, Fairfax, VA) in July 2016.
Really good interview process, they make sure they have the right people working there. Took a while though about 3-4 weeks to hear I got the job. Those who interview you are very nice and what to put you in the right place in your career path. It was a phone interview then another phone interview, then an extensive office interview. All were very helpful.
