Logic20/20 – Why Work For Us?

About Logic20/20

Logic20/20 is a Seattle business and technology consulting firm guided by the belief that most solutions are made too complicated for the problem they are trying to solve. Our appreciation for simplicity, and our ability to create it in complex client scenarios, is the cornerstone of our success. As a result, we’ve been recognized as one of Seattle’s fastest-growing businesses. The companies we work with count on us to deliver the key outcomes that elevate strategic and operational effectiveness.

Our depth of expertise in a number of disciplines and industries has positioned us as a premier partner to some of the area’s most successful organizations including a global foundation, Starbucks, a major aerospace manufacturer, and Microsoft. We understand the significant role an appropriate balance of business practice and technology strategy can have in client environments, where solutions have an impact across highly dependent organizations. Our ability to apply the optimal combination of these two elements is what sets us apart; it’s our secret sauce for enabling notably effective and elegantly simple solutions.

Logic20/20's mission is to be one of the best places to work for and do business with; we take the time to invest in our people and our community. By encouraging and enabling a sense of balance for our employees, we’ve created an environment where people do meaningful things; when working with clients, growing our careers and engaging in activities that feed the soul. As a result, we’ve attracted and retained a team of smart and motivated people inspired by what we do every day.

Our Values

We are a values driven organization. We came together as a team of consultants to define together the fundamental beliefs that drive our actions with each other and with our clients

Drive toward excellence

We expect to exceed ordinary standards in what we do. Excellence means adding insight to shape the best solutions; both for now and the long term. We aim to leave our clients with more capabilities and resources to help them achieve significant improvements in their performance.

Act with integrity

Integrity can be described as the quality of being honest. A person with integrity chooses to behave honestly and honor agreements in all interactions, regardless of whether someone is watching. We demonstrate our integrity by keeping our promises and doing the right things, even when it might be viewed as unpopular. Transparent communication is key: we provide accurate, important information in an open, honest, and forthright manner.

Foster a culture of we
Cultivating the spirit and energy of We is at the core of Teamwork. We focus on building our teams, going above and beyond to help each other, and leveraging individual strengths to benefit the whole. We're reliable as individuals and rely on each other as teammates. We demonstrate team work by listening actively, empathizing, and receiving criticism as needed.

Life at Logic20/20

Do what you know, with room to explore.

Our ability to deliver solutions that meet our clients’ challenges is impacted by nothing more than the quality of our employees. In fact, we feel hiring is the most important thing we do. Attracting the best talent relies heavily on the development of a compelling company culture that strikes a balance between work aligned with employees’ individual skills and providing room to learn and grow. We believe in the power of potential, that people do their best work while they are learning and that giving our employees room to explore not only grows our employees, but also grows our business.

The Power of Potential

Most everyone has a story about rising to the occasion when someone believed in them. For companies, it turns out it’s not so hard to believe when you focus on hiring smart people. Yet many companies dwell on hiring processes rooted in very specific assessment criteria.

By focusing our hiring requirements on the competencies that transfer across functional areas and industries, we create an environment where everybody wins: employees experience variety in the work they do, this leads to deeper engagement which produces better solutions, and clients realize the benefits of project teams with functional depth but also diversity of approach. Sure, we attract employees from premiere management and technology consulting firms who have decided that the road warrior lifestyle has lost its allure; but we also hire professionals from traditional companies and a wide range of functions and industries. What they have in common is the potential we see in them, to generate business value for our clients and evolve professionally.

Learning Culture

Opportunities for professional growth take many forms. We see employee growth as a long-term company imperative, so we instill our culture with learning; not only do we value it, but we are committed to creating ongoing opportunities for learning. It’s part of who we are. Logic20/20 employees experience learning opportunities in a number of ways: through our mentoring program, through formal training and sharing, and through collaboration within diverse project teams. This approach supports different learning styles and brings to bear the full range of expertise across our employee population.

Room to Explore

One of the benefits of establishing a learning culture is the signal it sends to employees. It promotes a sense of value and a spirit of collaboration. We see the impact every day in the initiative taken by our employees in generating new ideas and approaches to our work, ranging from those focused on addressing client challenges to those that change the way Logic20/20 operates. We’ve created a company ethos focused on empowering employees to explore outside their respective disciplines and roles, in an environment that values contribution, regardless of tenure, and the magic that can result from applying new thinking to old challenges.

I have been working at Logic20/20 full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

There's a huge culture of "we" - Everyone is there to help you no matter what your ask is. Great career path within the company and a great open door policy all the way up to the CEO

    Cons

The location is a downside, since it's right across from Safeco field. So if there's a game, plan on working from home.

    Advice to Management

Walk around the office more, and go say hello to consultants that otherwise wouldn't interact with you.

    Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Logic20/20.

    Interview

Submitted an application and was then called in for an interview. First interview focused on my analytical thinking and the second one was more of a cultural fit. Then I was called in a week later to speak with head of practice. Although they offered me a position, it ended up being contract based and would only offer it to me once they matched me to a project. After 3 months waiting, they still had not matched me. Really unfair for an employer to get your hopes up in this way.
