We've got a cast of characters that is hard not to like: geeks who surf, techies that rock climb, and data gurus who love biking and hiking.
I have been working at LogicMonitor full-time
The people here are bright, collaborative, and embrace a big future. Everyone is working together towards a common goal and we are celebrating the many successes along the way. We work really hard but support each other and make sure to incorporate lots of laughs everyday. The office is beautiful- from the 5th floor in downtown Santa Barbara (a rare perspective) we can see the glistening Pacific ocean to the left and the Los Padres mountains to the right. The benefits are great: 100% employer paid for medical/dental/vision for employee only, stock options, daily company sponsored workouts, stocked kitchen, $100 gym/parking stipend, fun events, and professional development reimbursement.
With growth, comes the growing pains of needing to change to become a larger company. I see it as a unique opportunity to take initiative, grow your career and build new things!
Advice to Management
Stay connected with the people and keep our culture strong as we grow. Make sure that the infrastructure and people support teams grow proportionately to continue providing excellent service to our people and the business.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at LogicMonitor (Santa Barbara, CA) in October 2016.
I was emailed by the recruiter. She messaged me and raised my interest about the company and asked if I was interested in learning more about the position etc. Following this initial encounter she encouraged me to apply and send in a cover letter and resume for the position. After submitting my application, they got back to me a few days later to schedule a 30 minute initial phone interview with the manager of talent acquisition. At the end of the phone call I was invited to a face to face interview in the Santa Barbara headquarters where I would meet various employees. Here I interviewed with five people: the recruiter, manager of talent acquisition, the sales manager, director of marketing and a senior sales representative. Everyone was really excited about the product and had a lot of great things to say about the company. They really wanted to know if you were a good fit for the culture they keep near and dear to them. The office was bright and had a ton of cools perks inside, the company really seemed focused on their culture and work-life balance. Everyone that I talked to was incredibly intelligent and seem dedicated to the success of the company. I left the interview energized by the excitement over the great product and felt like there was a huge opportunity for growth and professional development starting at a company growing so rapidly.
