I have been working at Logistic Dynamics full-time (Less than a year)
If you are a successful broker looking for a new home this company has everything you need to be successful. Good tech, good support, good truck network, respect amongst truck drivers in the industry.
Not much comes to mind. Coverage in Canada could be better. Software isn't Apple compatible. Over all though I would say 9/10.
Advice to Management
Continue to invest in technology that makes finding freshly posted trucks easy from multiple sources to give agents the best chance at spot freight and last minute loads.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Logistic Dynamics (Buffalo, NY) in December 2010.
Had an odd interview with the "director of recruiting" where she proved she could swear a whole lot while at the same time proving she did not understand the business she was attempting to recruit agents into. Overall structure of the company is supported by the computer programming business that shares their building and seems to have a decent while sterile organization.
Freight Brokers - If you are a W-2 employee, there are many great reasons to switch to a 1099 agent. Here's some write-offs that we posted about in the past!
Last Saturday (January 20), we hosted our annual Holiday Party and Awards Banquet to celebrate both agent and corporate employee successes. It was amazing to have everyone together, meeting new agents and employees, and seeing all the support and love we all have for each other within the LDI family. We celebrated the Hyatt in Downtown Buffalo with great food, music, and drinks. Check out our photos to view some of the shenanigans that went down over the weekend. We can't wait until the next time we all get together again!
