Worked at the Call Centre for 2 years and generally had a good experience. Good company culture and fair wage. Good training and support.
Tough to stand out. Need to seek out projects yourself in order to get noticed. Try to get into insurance (transfer from GRS or Investments) as this area is their focus and has most opportunity for growth.
Advice to Management
Should demonstrate possible career pathways/trajectories as this was not really indicated during one on one meetings.
I applied online. The process took 2+ weeks. I interviewed at London Life (Toronto, ON (Canada)).
The first interview was done by two managers from head office. It was mostly questions about my experiences and they could help me in the new position. The second interview involved a 15 minutes presentation.
