I have been working at Lonesource full-time (More than 10 years)
Good people, great customer service for our customers. While the company had overcome many obstacles through the years, it was finally positioned to be acquired by a larger company to the benefit of the owners and shareholders.
Was acquired by larger company and the majority of the workforce was laid off in stages. The severance packages could have been better for workers that had been with the company for 10+ years.
Advice to Management
Value the employee that keeps the company profitable & customers loyal
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Lonesource (Atlanta, GA) in June 2011.
week long process with multiple other possible hires. It is a training course that at the end of the course you are either "drafted" by a manager or you are paid for your time and released. i would say about one half of all applicants were chosen to work there.
