I applied online. The process took 4+ weeks. I interviewed at Looker (Santa Cruz, CA) in October 2016.
Received invitation for phone interview 1 month after applying.
Phone interview was casual and loosely formatted. We discussed the software and services of Looker and how my background would fit into the role.
Had 30 minute in person interviews with 6 people one week after phone interview. Very much two way interviews where I was finding out as much about the role and the Looker team as they were about me. One interview included SQL test.
One week later had interviews with Looker founder and the VP of customer success. Received verbal offer from hiring manager the same day. Received written offer one week later.
