I worked at Loomis full-time (More than 5 years)
It is a learning experience working on all those banks. All though thes work is hard it is rewarding when we get passed each hurdle, as the holidays, the big money flowing times come and go.
There's no set time to go home. Some or most of the time the work can be gruelling and long until we get through with counting all that money. Workers become agitated, thinking they are getting the brunt of the work because some are faster than others Its kind of a on going battle because the employers want you to be fast but when you finish your work load you cannot set around idle.
Advice to Management
I think, for the most part, delegating the work evenly and then when the faster tellers complete their task, ask them to stay and help if they do not have all their eight hours at that point or if they do see if they want over time. This way maybe relieve anxieties of pulling more than their wait so to speak, All so, no favoritism because before the manager before Betina, would make the favorites a position and they came aboard after me and a lot of employees. They were not so exceptional that they should be put above us, just flerted with him a lot. Another thing that was unfair to the loyal employees that has been working hard for years, is that they decided to give the new comer employees a dollar raise if you were there no longer than about six months but those loyal, longevity employees got cents. Actually, I was one of the luckier ones, I got a whole 61 cents raise while my co-worker who has been there for fifteen years go 47 cents. That tells me where the employers loyalty lies because they know you have to much time and money invested and you probable by now are not a spring chicken so they have you.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Loomis (Las Vegas, NV) in October 2017.
Straightforward and sincere questions, interviewer was polite and cordial. My questions answers were addressed in a very professional manner without any condescending or negative connotations. I left the interview feeling confident.
