I worked at Lorian Health full-time (Less than a year)
Provided a salary rather than a pay per visit or hourly pay structure. Very flexible scheduling create your own schedule. As long as you see your patients and document, you can take off whenever you want. Decent benefits.
They supervisors and managers seem to know all about nursing and cater to nursing but don't know anything about therapy and therapy services. Very poor orientation and training at least for occupational therapy. I'm not sure how it is with nurses.
Advice to Management
Supervisors and directors should be educated in the software and documentation for therapists in order to be able to provide answers to therapist questions and to be available as a resource or assistance during orientation and training of new therapists.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lorian Health (San Diego, CA) in April 2016.
Went through two interviews. One with the Talent Development Director. The second interview was with the CFO. Very easy going interview. Upon my arrival, the receptionist Daisy was very friendly and personable.
