I worked at Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Interns work on meaningful projects and write advocacy letters on key initiatives from the local to federal levels. Opportunity to work with many leaders

    Cons

Interns are not always busy - sometimes no projects or work available. The employees could offer interns more projects as they come up to keep the experience active

    Advice to Management

create a more structured intern experience

This was an overall positive interview experience. There was only one phone call as the entire interview. The interviewer was very friendly and told me about what the LACC does and what my internship would entail.
