I worked at Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder / County Clerk part-time (Less than a year)
Good environment of people that gets the job done. Work is management and room for upward mobility given the appropriate effort
Clerical work can become monotonous and repetitive but overall not much to complain about. Lots of opportunities for extra hours as well
I applied online. I interviewed at Los Angeles County Registrar-Recorder / County Clerk (Los Angeles, CA) in October 2016.
Phone interview then in person training followed by online training which reinforces everything you learn in the in person class training plus the training for all the clerks and even training for your supervisor which makes no sense whatsoever but the training is the only way you can get a portion of your pay.
