"Gemini prides itself in driver safety and this program is one of the many ways we show our support and appreciation to the drivers who make safety a top priority," said Brent Bergevin, vice president of transportation for Gemini. "The Safe Driver Credits program has drastically reduced driver turnover and has helped Gemini continue its incredible safety record. We're pleased to present drivers with this well-earned bonus."
"I was just doing my part, making sure everyone was safe," #TeamLoves Mechanic David said. "We're always trying to help people out at Love's. Hopefully they'll stop at another one of our locations if they need help again on their journey."
Clean Places, Friendly Faces. It’s been a guiding principle at Love’s for more than 50 years, and it’s leading us into the future. We’re passionate about serving Customers with clean, modern facilities stocked with plenty of fuel, food and supplies.
Love’s has two primary kinds of stores. Our ‘Country Stores’ are fueling stations with a convenience store attached. The larger Love’s Travel Stops are located on interstate highways and offer additional amenities such as food from restaurant chains such as Subway, Arby’s and Carl’s Jr., trucking supplies, showers and RV dump stations.
Love's has been at the forefront of the convenience store and travel center industry for half a century. We were among the first to offer self-serve gasoline and groceries at the same time. We led the way on fresh deli sandwiches, quick-service restaurants and gift and novelty items, too.
And we’re searching for new ways to serve drivers through innovations such as our Truck Tire Care centers with roadside assistance service and getting drivers paid for their freight bills through our freight factoring group: Love's Financial.
Love’s was founded on the values of integrity, customer focus, strong work ethic, innovation and perseverance. Tom Love displayed all of these as he built Love’s from the ground up – from one small filling station in western Oklahoma in 1964 to more than 480 Love’s locations coast to coast. These core values are the keys to our success. But Tom didn’t do it by himself.
He surrounded himself with visionary team members who embodied the same set of values. Today, we are looking for these in every person we hire. No matter what job you do for Love’s, your commitment to integrity, customer focus, strong work ethic, innovation and perseverance will not only continue our legacy of growth, it will also ensure your successful career. Do you have what it takes?

I have been working at Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores full-time (More than a year)
This job is challenging! It challenges you to be your best. Best you, best employee, best everything. I was hired in 2017, in 2018 I was promoted to shift leader. My management team
Works hands on with me to help me prepare for the next step. If you work, and I mean work, put in your hours, work your tasks, ask management
If they need anything specific done. Work, go in do your job. You will forge great relationship s with your management team. If your hired as an associate prove yourself. Prove to management this is more than a paycheck, you can go far. It is your job to show management you want more, not theirs to guess what it is you want.
Like any company there are those who think seniority out weighs work ethic. Those who think things should be handed to them. But loves doesn't operate like that. You work.
Advice to Management
Keep doing as it is. Keep the pay competitive, keep empowering managers to mentor associates who want to grow and have careers not paychecks.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores.
It mostly comprised of asking to tell them about my life from highschool on. While telling my story the GM was really engaged and showed genuine interrest not just in professional aspects but in me. This was the first sign that loves treats their employees as a genuine family. We watch out for eachother. The interview felt more like a friendly conversation than business. I have qualifications that i could use to sell myself to a higher starting wage and i feel loves genuinely wants us to move up and be paid what we deserve.
