Mission: Lovelace Health System is a premier provider of health care services, delivered with compassion for patients and their families, with respect for employees, physicians and other health professionals, with accountability for our fiscal and ethical performance, and with ...
I worked at Lovelace Health System part-time (Less than a year)
Possibilities for cross-training, position mobility, extensive training, dynamic team work, relaxing work environment (unless you're in the ED), ability to pick up shifts / move position to other Lovelace Hospitals
Hour availability is always iffy, working with customers in the ED can be quite an adventure (no one wants to wait but you MUST treat everyone as if they are the priority (even when they really aren't))
Advice to Management
Take time to talk to your workers (outside of a one-on-one standard rigorous meeting) and ask them how they're doing in their position, what can you do to help, if they're struggling with something specific (like an insurance policy etc), and genuinely let them know you're there to be both a mentor, a leader, and their boss to hold them accountable to Lovelace's standards.
Was contacted by the manager and had an interview the next day. The manager explained the job and what it entails and how it could lead to a full time position very fast.
Congratulations to Lovelace Westside Hospital - recognized as one of the 150 Top Places to Work in Healthcare by Becker's Hospital Review!
