I have been working at Lovesac full-time (More than a year)

A Wonderful company to work for who really cares about their employees. They look to promote from within and you get what you put into it. You need a positive attitude and good work ethic to thrive in this environment and management is very supportive and encourages individuality! Just like anywhere else, you get what you put into it and if you are dedicated and really care about customer service and are motivated - you will succeed!

I cannot think of anything to be honest

    Assistant Store Manager Interview

Anonymous Interview Candidate in Skokie, IL
    No Offer
    Negative Experience
    Easy Interview

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Lovesac (Skokie, IL) in October 2018.

I applied via Glassdoor and was promptly contacted back requesting a phone interview.

The Interviewer missed the first phone interview entirely, and rescheduled for a later time. For the second attempt at a phone interview, they called an hour later than the scheduled time.

We scheduled an In Person interview.

I arrived early. The Interviewer never showed.

Approximately fifteen minutes later, during my drive back home, the Interviewer contacted me to apologize and reschedule the interview.

During our SECOND attempt at an In Person interview, the Interviewer frequently checked their cellphone and took a personal call in the middle of the process. Further, they kept recommending jobs at OTHER companies that I should apply for, citing contacts they still had from when they were employed there, which I felt was very odd. I was told I was at the top of their list of candidates and they would contact me within the next few days.

During the next several months, I attempted to contact them on multiple occasions via phone, email, and text, and received no response. I was told they were out of the store and would contact me ASAP, and that the position had not yet been filled.

The entire process, from start to finish, was horrifically disorganized and unprofessional, and I would not recommend Lovesac to any of my friends that were seeking employment as a result.
