Lowenstein Sandler – Why Work For Us?

Lowenstein Sandler is a national law firm with over 300 lawyers working from five offices in New York, Palo Alto, New Jersey, Utah and Washington, D.C. We represent clients in virtually every sector of the global economy, with particular strength in the areas of technology, life sciences, and the financial management and fund industries that fuel economic growth.

We have built a reputation for pursuing every matter with creativity and passion. Our industry knowledge, entrepreneurial drive, and proven commitment to our communities deliver a different and better law firm experience to our clients. We focus on building long-standing relationships and anticipating our clients’ needs, rather than responding to them. Working side-by-side with our clients, we serve not only as lawyers, but as trusted advisors.

We approach each case, each client, and each other with integrity and respect, and our award winning pro-bono work enables us to connect individuals and communities with unimaginable success.

We see our colleagues as family and commit to the personal development, support, and mentorship of all those under our roof. We work tirelessly to create a fully inclusive environment in which differing views and perspectives are welcomed and honored.

We are committed deeply to client service.

We honor the trust others have placed in us.

We are entrepreneurial.

We anticipate rather than merely respond.

We are passionate about everything we do.

We encourage creativity to flourish.

We are generous with our time and our talent.

We work to connect clients and communities.

When you join Lowenstein Sandler, you become part of a community of passionate individuals united by a common purpose. Our strategy is unconventional: we empower members of our community by fostering their entrepreneurial spirit and giving them tools to grow. If you are ready to apply your intellect, creativity, and diverse perspective to the creation of cutting-edge legal work, we are eager to hear from you.

Our success as a firm is directly linked to our ability to create a community that is diverse, inclusive and respectful of differing points of view. The foundation for our culture was laid by firm founder Alan Lowenstein, who was renowned for recruiting & welcoming colleagues of all backgrounds and experiences. From our roots as members of the Lawyers Commission for Civil Rights to serving as co-founders of the New Jersey Institute for Social Justice, inclusivity is a part of Lowenstein's DNA.

In 2009, Lowenstein Sandler expanded its historic commitment to public and community service by creating the Lowenstein Center for the Public Interest. The Center maximizes impact by focusing the firm’s pro bono efforts and deepening its partnerships with leading nonprofit and community organizations. Led by a career public interest lawyer, Catherine Weiss, the Center staff work to foster and support pro bono efforts in each of the firm’s offices.

I have been working at Lowenstein Sandler full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

I've been working here for a little over 2 years in the New York office as a Senior Legal Secretary. I love this firm. Everyone has been really friendly, including management & attorneys. My supervisor, Sharon is the best! Sharon is really insightful and always willing to listen and give positive feedback and advice. In my opinion, this firm really cares about support staff and they do their best to accommodate you in any way that they can. An added addition, is that this firm cultivates diversity and inclusion, which is a really good principle to see.

    Cons

I have do not have any cons.

    Advice to Management

Having poor management can have a negative affect on the overall morale of the work place. So far, Lowenstein has nailed it when it comes to hiring good management!
