Mission: Join Lucid Software and help us build the next generation of graphical, collaborative web applications. Come help us show the tech world what can be done on the web. Talent and ability to learn are more important than years of experience.
I have been working at Lucid Software full-time (More than a year)
Employees come first at Lucid. They really care about being an excellent employer that takes care of their employees. Leadership is very engaged and accessible. Pay is on par with industry and region. Lucidchart is an excellent product with room for a ton of growth. The culture is collaborative and not competitive, which has been so refreshing for me.
I started off unhappy with my compensation, but they have been very willing to raise it quickly as I've demonstrated excellent performance. No current complaints.
Advice to Management
Keep being the best employer around! All of the benefits are excellent, don't lag behind in compensation and you'll be able to retain the amazing people you've worked so hard to get. As we move into the growth stage, don't forget about the people, values, and work that helped you get there as a startup!
I applied through an employee referral. The process took a week. I interviewed at Lucid Software (South Jordan, UT).
3 rounds of onsite interviews onsite.
1. Set you up and leave you in a conference room to do a coding challenge. In my case they asked me to implement a popular game. I had never played before, but the interviewer seemed to expect me to know the rules and concepts of the game. I think this lead to my poor performance for this part of the process.
2. Algorithm questions/discussion
3. Architectural discussion with 2 engineers
