Whether it be a valued resident, employee, or partner, people are at the core of our company.
We know that what we do starts from within our organization. Our teams work hard to maintain a culture that is conducive to creative thinking, empowerment, collaboration, and the ability to embrace change. Life is all about experiences-- and we're here to prove it. Through our interior designs, amenity-rich spaces, and event driven property lifestyle, we hope to provide people with a place to truly live.
I have been working at Lyon Living part-time (More than a year)
Smaller company vs. some of the larger corporate companies - management is definitely more personable than what you'd expect from a larger company. Culture is good, opportunities to grow, learn and gain experience in the industry.
Its impossible not to come across difficult residents. Communication is key between staff so issues don't get lost in translation when shifts rotate during the week.
Advice to Management
Keep up the good work. Don't forget to ask property managers/leasing associates for their perspectives..they may see things at the local level that corporate may not see or understand without being on the front line.
I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Lyon Living (Newport Beach, CA) in January 2017.
The interview process was extremely well formatted and efficiently executed. Very detailed with a great open line of communication. The entire process from start to finish was seamless with great follow up during the process.
