I have been working at M-B Companies full-time (More than 3 years)
-You get to experience all the different challenges of putting these large trucks together
-Very little monotony
-Mostly good people
-Full tuition reimbursement
-Few "politics" compared to a larger company
-Location! Chilton, WI is not a happening place.
-All of white collar commutes from larger areas which prevents any after work activities
-A lot of the production/manufacturing staff have abrasive personalities.
-The physical size of the building, it definitely needs to be expanded
-HR needs to revamp how employees earn vacation. Current plan seems old fashioned.
Advice to Management
-Recent change in general managers seems to please everyone
-Create advancement levels for employees to strive for. There is no structure for that currently.
I applied through other source. The process took 4+ months. I interviewed at M-B Companies (New Holstein, WI) in September 2016.
basic interview, misleading potential, was upset no thank you note was sent after 1st interview. led me on to when I would receive an offer. Very long in between contacts.
