I worked at MAQ Consulting as a contractor
Firm does not buy into buzzwords and hype many other agencies do. Better hourly rate and benefits than similar outfits.
Really only one client. This means having to continually keep in touch with other agencies. That is should one choose the contractor path.
Advice to Management
Grow, develop, expand the client base. Have multiple outlets for sourced talent to plug into. More money for you means more money for labor. Ultimately means more money for the State. Everybody happy.
I applied online. The process took 3+ weeks. I interviewed at MAQ Consulting (Seattle, WA).
The interview process with MAQ was an incredibly frustrating drawn-out process with little to no communication from the recruiter. Most of the recruiters are in India and the time difference makes it impossible to get ahold of anyone. I submitted my resume for the job, MAQ set up a phone call with the client the next day, and the week after that I went in for an in-person interview. MAQ neglected to tell me that my in-person interview was 2 hours long with 4 different team members, so I was totally unprepared. I sent several follow-up emails to MAQ about whether or not I'd been selected and essentially never heard from them again. Totally unprofessional and downright rude.
