Having money is always better than not having money, other than that: none.
The absolute most important fact I must translate is that if YOU WANT TO CODE, then you are in the wrong place (yes, even though the job title says "software" AND "engineer"). MAQ in Redmond is responsible for managing the company's many projects, so regardless of your job title, if you work in Redmond, you are very likely going to be nothing but a Project Manager; however, there are rare and infrequent opportunities for actually writing code. So, maybe you'll get lucky?
Second, you'll have nightly meetings 5 nights a week (Sun - Thur) since the vast majority of your team will likely reside ~13hrs ahead.

Advice to Management
Please, please call your Project Managers what they are. Please.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at MAQ Software (Redmond, WA).
The process was simple. 30 minute phone interview talking about projects I've done and benefits the company offer. Then, they invited me for on site interview. There were two sessions; first session was with a PM, talking about my past projects, and the second session was with a UX designer in the team. I did some design exercise with the designer on whiteboard. Then I was given design exercise and after I submitted, they contacted me asking about start date. However, all of the sudden, they said that they would pause this process and resume in April, which I had no idea what this was about. They were not very clear if I have received offer or not.
