I worked at MCS Kenny full-time
Great ethics, moral, and show great care for employees. Pay is average for a smaller oil and gas company, but the benefits and work environment make it a great workplace.
They merged with woodgroup which don't have the same values and don't treat their employees as they should.
Advice to Management
Management befor the merge was great, after the merge I advise management to pay their employees what they deserve. Also woodgroup needs to evaluate their work ethics within the company, at times it's like being in Highschool
I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at MCS Kenny (San Juan, PR) in September 2009.
I was approached for this job at an industry event, by the top manager with whom I had previously worked at two other companies. It was a smooth process, very easy to get into the company. Basically, he did the hiring process in compliance with the company's requirements.
I accepted the offer rather quickly, since I wanted a change from my previous job. Since people in the industry know each other in this marketplace, I knew I was brought in for my experience and good standing in this segment.
