    Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at MERRILL.

    Interview

Got in touch with a recruiter at a job fair. Talked with HR, an owner, and the hiring manager. They want you sign a non-compete agreement that seems to broad and might limit you in future jobs. We went back and forth on terms of the contract. I asked for a raise after 90 days. They wrote that I "may" get a raise of XXXXX after 90 days. Because it was not guaranteed, I did not receive it. FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT for what you want and more or be prepared to walk. I ask for a certain number of vacation days and they accepted it minus one day. They will hard ball you and undervalue you.
