Let’s take a look at a day in the life of a MONI Smart Security Customer Service representative, internally known as a Security Advisor. Our diverse team is here 24 hours, 7 days a week answering calls and resolving concerns of our valued customers. After completing four weeks of training, our agents are equipped to address the needs of our customers and excel in their jobs. Our new hires transition to our Customer Care Academy where they are provided an intimate and nurturing environment to further develop their skills. Through our career development program, LEAP, you will be in charge of your career seeking out internal promotional opportunities. In 2016, Customer Care promoted over 100 agents to other positions within MONI. We have created a culture of “Yes, You Can” whether it’s servicing our customers or seeking further internal career options.
At the start of the day, each team member is greeted by their supervisor and given positive affirmations. They are free to grab a complementary cup of coffee from our snack bar or a bite to eat from our cafeteria. If you’re a fitness buff, we also offer a state-of-the-art gym that is available 24 hours a day. MONI has a great sense of community regularly participating in charities across North Texas.
At MONI Smart Security, the Customer Service team plays an integral role in resolving customer issues while providing a great customer experience. Unlike other traditional Customer Service Representative positions, a MONI Smart Security Customer Care Representative is empowered to take care of many different tasks and responsibilities including all facets of account management for our customers in order to positively affect our customers’ lives. With so many different alarm systems available, virtually every call is a different story and we work with great confidence being our customers’ first choice in home security and home automation.

MONI headquarters (located at 1990 Wittington Place, Farmers Branch, TX. 75234) is a modern building that has a state- of-the-art gym and cafeteria for our employees to enjoy. Our workout facility has a variety of well-maintained equipment and an exercise room where a selection of wellness classes are held throughout the week. Our on-site café, SubRoc, provides fresh meals and beverage options for breakfast, lunch and snacks.
MONI employees will be eligible for 401k and benefits the first of the monthly following 60 days of employment. We use Charles Schwab for our 401k and the following providers for our benefits: Cigna (dental), Blue Cross Blue Shield (health) and Eye Med (eye care).
MONI encourages employees to continue their education by providing a Tuition Reimbursement Program to eligible team members for enrollment in job-related or career path directed coursework at educational institutions. Workshops or seminars that are directly applicable to job performance, professional licensing requirements, or part of a performance development plan are also eligible for this benefit and, if approved, will be reimbursed at 100% up to $5,000 per year. Active full-time team members, working a minimum of 30 hours per week, this means that you have a standard schedule of 30 hours or more per week and are actually maintaining a minimum of 30 hours per week or on an approved leave of absence. Eligibility begins the first of the month, following 60 days of employment.
MONI employees receive additional income if they participate in our referral programs. For our Customer Referral Program, employees can earn $75 gift cards of choice for each customer referral that receives an installation. For the Employee Referral Program, MONI employees receive $100 once their referral has been employed for 90 days and $200 once employed for 180 days ($50 is added to both amounts if the referral is bilingual-English/Spanish).
We have vendors on-site for our MONI employees throughout each month, which include the following: BB&T Bank, BBVA Compass Bank, Booster Fuels, DeVry University and Sam’s Club.
MONI employees receive discounts on alarm monitoring products and free alarm monitoring. Employees also are able to provide discounted rate for friends and family.
