MOSAIC is filled with passionate front-line folks that work so hard because they believe in making the world a better place.
Wouldn't be surprised if Managers of all levels declared that they would rather use a telegraph than any tool of modern technology, this includes outdated and naive business practices. Folks work on their vacation days and management still has the audacity to ask more of them.
Advice to Management
Please consider higher standards when hiring managers OR provide them with enough support and training that they don't ruin the lives and the morale of their employees.

Phone screen interview first, asked some questions in relation to the program and your experiences worked with the target population. And then invite candidates to a face to face interview - One program manager and one department manager take turns to ask about 10 questions.
