About Us

Market Resource Partners (MRP) is a global provider of strategic marketing and demand generation services for the technology industry.  Founded in 2002 and headquartered in Philadelphia, MRP has expanded its reach worldwide with offices around the world.  We specialize in the design and execution of B2B marketing programs, executed both on a local and global basis. Our Story:   The Origins of MRP

The origins of Market Resource Partners date back to 2002, when the two founders, Kevin Cunningham and James Regan set out to solve the challenges that technology companies faced when working to expand the sales footprint beyond major enterprises and into the midmarket.   Value added resellers (VARs) became a focal point of these efforts; however, most of these organizations had numerous brands in their portfolio and not enough marketing resources on staff to focus on building sales pipeline for any particular manufacturer.  Technology manufacturers needed a turnkey demand generation solution for top resellers that could be engaged regionally or nationally in order to achieve pipeline goals.   In addition, the sponsoring manufacturer sought visibility into the progression of the opportunities produced within each VAR’s pipeline—ensuring that measureable ROI would result from the program.  Jim and Kevin formed a small team that became MRP and developed a scalable solution and quickly grew to meet the needs of its clients.

As time progressed, the demand for MRP’s channel marketing and demand generation services increased, allowing the addition of new clients, team members and infrastructure to support the core services.  MRP was growing up fast and soon closely engaged with a number of top manufacturers, distributors and resellers—generating new business opportunities and offering recommendations and insights that made a difference.   Through these relationships, MRP had a keen understanding of the marketplace and evolved its capabilities to include analytics, data management, direct marketing and others.   Each of these components executed within the core operational process ensuring consistency and measurability.

By 2008, MRP was a leading technology marketing services provider in North America, employing in excess of 150 professionals, and named a preferred partner for many clients, executing large scale programs that had a sizable impact on corporate targets.   Increasingly, these clients looked to replicate these programs in other regions which, later that year, led MRP to join forces with, then client, First Derivatives.

For MRP, the acquisition provided clients public company stability and fueled the progression to a global entity.  It also allowed the introduction of FD developed software-  data and business analytic platforms into the portfolio of solutions available to clients.   For First Derivatives, MRP brought an expertise in sales and market development to the organization that it has supported the launch of its US presence and the overall appreciation in the value.  Since joining the FD Group, MRP has evolved into a global marketing services provider with new offices in Belfast, London, Managua and Singapore, amongst others.

From its early entrepreneurial beginnings to the present day, MRP’s focus has been on assembling the best team of professionals committed to delivering the greatest value to its portfolio of technology clients.   We are proud to represent these organizations and excited about the path that is ahead in this ever changing world of technology marketing.

    The process was disorganized and confusing. I don't think there was much communication between the hiring manager and the position's supervisor. The hiring manager was very pleasant and conducted the phone interview while the director conducted the in-person, which was awkward and fake.
