The work environment is very good, most people are very personable and care about things about you that don't necessarily deal with work. You aren't forgotten as an intern, and will be tasked with challenging work when it is available.
Being a consulting firm, the work ebbs and flows so there is not always a ton of work to be done. This results in interns constantly bugging engineers for work, which isn't the greatest dynamic all day long.
Advice to Management
Management is actually really great, they did all they could to get me work as much as possible, with varying success. Possibly to try and get interns out in the field.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at MWH Global in January 2017.
The interview was challenging but the process was pretty much easy and the interviewers were quite comforting. To start with, I had a phone interview which lasted for about an hour and then a week later I was called in for an in-person interview which lasted for around three hours.
