    What is Best for the World?

    The Best For The World: Changemakers list honors positive impact and behavior change among Certified B Corporations across all categories on the B Impact Assessment. To certify as B Corporations, companies must complete the full assessment and have their answers verified by B Lab and re-certify every three years. The Best for the World: Changemakers list honors the improvement made by B Corporations from one certification to the next.

    Some of the other honorees include: Patagonia; King Arthur Flour Company; Green Mountain Power; and the United Kingdom’s Charity Bank —we’re in great company!

Environmental & Social Responsibility

We exist to positively influence others, using our business as a force for good. We have been a certified B Corp since 2014, balancing purpose and profit with a focus on helping other businesses reduce their environmental impact.

We are proud to have been honored by B Lab as a Best for the World Changemaker in 2017 and 2018.

We are passionate about partnering with meaningful organizations like: Tourism Cares, The Conservation Fund, Cancer and Careers, Beauty Bus, B Lab and Heal the Bay among many others.

Did you know MaCher's team has volunteered more than 1,000 hours this year? We also give back 2% of our yearly revenue consisting of 1% revenue and 1% in-kind product + pro bono services!

The United Nation’s 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development is a critical ‘call to action’ to achieve 17 goals in the next 10 years. 

We continue to measure our impact covering the original scope of the SDG’s to act as a blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet now and into the future.

    Pros

    MaCher is a company that cares not only about what they do, but also how they do it. Through self and team management, employees are empowered to consistently provide feedback and see our roles as opportunities to positively impact our company, our clients, and our sourcing partners. With a focus on sustainability, MaCher is consistently working to make the world a better place, which is just wonderful to be a part of.

    Culture is an extremely important aspect of the business. There are some truly lovely people who work at this company and care deeply about what they do. This is a collaborative environment that focuses on respect and trust.

    No real cons, this is a great place to work!

    Advice to Management

    This is a unique and excellent management team that provides support, vision, and empowers it's employees. Keep up the great work!

    Long and thorough. Phone interview, face to face interviews, meeting loads of team members, homework. Long. Stated that the process is to ensure that the company was a good fit for me and also vice versa. Feel like I met everyone in the business. Culture is a big thing for them. Do you research.
