    Pros

This company treats employees like adults. Listens to your ideas and/or opinions, implements them if they support company objectives, and gives you credit for it. The management teams are for the most part, top notch. Working to help advance their employees' knowledge and position within the company.

    Cons

The salaries are sometimes below the national average, but the ancillary rewards make up for it.

    Advice to Management

We are moving in a really positive direction, let's keep rolling.

    Shared Services Interview

    Positive Experience
    Easy Interview

    Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Macerich (Santa Monica, CA) in October 2010.

    Interview

Standard general interview asking for work history background. Went through 3 face to face interviews with managers of increasing stature. Nothing difficult or analytical about it. They tried to suggest I apply for an accounts recievable role, but my friend who worked there said this was beneath me so I said I wasn't interested. They ended up offering the Lease Revenue role which I accepted.

    Interview Questions

    Negotiation

I increased the salary offer by about $5k annually by saying that's what it would take to make me leave my prior job.
