    I applied online. The process took a week. I interviewed at Madison Logic (New York, NY) in April 2015.


    After the phone screen with the HR, i got called in for office interview. As I was walking to the interview room, first thing I realized that they have a nice open office where engineers are mixed with others.. This is bad because engineers needs quiet environment to resolve challenged bugs.Seems a bit distracting to me.
    Interview took about 3 hours, by 4 people, 2 at a time. Interviewers were very serious and seemed like had no sense of humor, you need to make the person feel a little comfortable you know.. smile at least once in a while. That shows that you hate your job or is not fun to be around and I don't want to be a part of it.
    First round was with a senior developer and a QA person.I don't understand why a QA engineer is interviewing an experienced Software engineer anyway.. one of them was very unhappy the fact that I couldn't answer one of his questions. Hey buddy, even the person that knows everything will still have some things that he wouldn't know.. so get over it and move on to next question..
    Second round was much better with lots of technical questions.(still no smile).. Why engineers are so dull? We are all humans, yes I know it is a serious but you are telling me that it s a very fun company to work with while no engineers shows any signs of it.. There were some cool programming questions some of them was tricky. I can classify them as down level of google questions.I got them all right. I think they seem unhappy the fact that I couldn't resolve them quicker than they would..
    Anyway, the nice HR girl told me i would hear from her in two weeks bad or good which of course i didn't hear anything. but it is okay.. know how this works.
