Advice to Management
Keep doing what you're doing and continue to train and push your team. Keep visibility with your team high.
Implement a remote work policy.
I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Magenic (Minneapolis, MN) in April 2018.
I applied to Magenic From an internal recruiter.
The process started at a career fair where I met with an internal recruiter and a consulting manager. After meeting with them I was brought in for the first interview round which was a paper test with standard OOP questions in multiple choice format, as well as having to “whiteboard” on paper a few coding questions. After I finished I was told that they would have one of the managers grade it and they would get back to me. The next day I received a call letting me know I did well on my test and they would like me to come in for the final round of interviews the following week. The final round consisted of some developers coming in and screening with your normal programming type interview questions and whiteboarding as well as having higher up people in the company come in and ask questions in a conversational manner.
The next day I was contacted by the recruiter asking if I would like to accept an offer.
