I have been working at Magoosh full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Magoosh is really intentional about its culture. It's reiterated during monthly meetings and when we give shout-outs. I don't think I've worked at a company that has tried to stay so true to its values. It's really inspiring.
The people that work here are passionate and committed to helping students study for standardized tests. Each week the company shares student stoke in our department meetings. It's great to work on a product that students love.

    Cons

It's a small company so for better or worse the culture tends to be scrappy.
Managers try and provide guidance and mentorship but some folks would like more support.

    Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Magoosh in August 2017.

    Interview

Phone call with CEO, then given 24 hours to complete a coding challenge. CEO and Meghan the recruiter who followed up after were both supremely professional and very pleasant to talk to. Although I did not get an offer, they took the time to provide feedback on my coding challenge submission.
