I worked at MapAnything full-time (More than 3 years)
First off, as a female in leadership that recently departed, I'd like to thank MapAnything for the opportunity to gain the skills that I needed to move on and up to a much better, higher paying position. My departure had nothing to do with the company not being women friendly; rather it contributed to my success and opened up many doors for me. I was given the opportunity to work on meaningful projects and I had a seat at the table of success (so to speak). There is no doubt this company recognizes talent and hard work regardless of sex, status or race. Its constant involvement in the community such as Dress for Success, Habitat, countless blood drives, speaks volumes.
It was a great place to work where I got to engage with smart, ambitious, fun and talented people. One of the biggest benefits was working in the Salesforce eco-system and using the latest technologies.
Sometimes things were moving too quickly, it's hard to keep up. There have been many times I've said to myself "Why didn't anyone tell me about this earlier?"
Advice to Management
Enable employees to be more proactive than reactive.
Invest in more training.
I applied online. I interviewed at MapAnything.
Detailed and professional communication from HR prior to interview. Interview was casual and did not follow traditional interview questions. Met with HR for first interview and hiring mangers for second round.
