I have been working at Mapfre full-time (More than a year)
Great benefits, good hours, decent pay. If you need anything, they take care of you. Their Ergo departmentales sure you are comfortable at your desk and provides you with anything that you need.
The workload is unrealistic. You get at least 15-20 claims a day, on top of taking care of inbound/outbound calls, rentals, appraisals, tasks and reminders for each claim. You constantly have over 100 emails daily....and you're expected to have everything as current as the week your in. Working overtime should be to help you get ahead, not keep you from drowning.
Advice to Management
Some supervisors are so miserable they never have a nice thing to say to their employees. And new employees at that. How do you expect people to work hard for you if you constantly bring them down? You need to give people confirmation that they don't (for lack of a better term) suck. Hence why there is a constant revolving door. You don't get paid enough to deal with the workload either.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Mapfre (Webster, MA) in May 2016.
The interview was done more in the form of a conversation, which I found to be highly successful. It was an approach i'd never seen done before, and I enjoyed it very much. They wanted to know about my skill set, but wanted to know more about me as a person.
