You have the ability to make good money. You have the ability to work banquets which is typically $18 an hour.
Customer service is always difficult. Fine dining comes with picky and sometimes rude customers. Also, multitasking and thinking ahead is a must.
Advice to Management
Listen to employees more and give solutions to problems that involve coworkers.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Market Street Bar & Grill (Salt Lake City, UT) in June 2012.
It was brief and she hired me immediately.
There is a two week training period. The first week is all in a classroom. The second week is floor experience by following or "shadowing" another server. They give you homework every night.
