In 2017 on our annual company-wide Global Day of Service, 685 employees rallied together and provided 1,370 hours of community service in one day. For back to school in 2017 we also collected over 36,000 food items to stock food pantries for underprivileged local schools in our communities.
  • NexGen is an elite training program designed for key contributors who have been identified as high performers with high potential for management. The program graduates approximately 75 participants per year, putting them on path for future leadership considerations.
  • Trailblazer Summit is a quarterly forum where big, impactful, and innovative ideas are exchanged. This program is operated by NexGen graduates with the goal of recognizing and awarding MarketStar’s top Trailblazers for the quarter.
  • Readership provides an opportunity for employees to grow professionally and personally by participating in the free monthly book club. The first Friday of each month, for the first six months of the year, presentations are provided by our leadership where they share their insights into the month’s pick. Principles acquired from the program are utilized at a community level by reading to over 1,000 local elementary-aged children.
  • Orange Talks is MarketStar’s version of TED Talks. It acts as a companionship program to Readership, where it runs the second-half of each year. Themes are guided by the workforce and are taught and delivered by all levels of the organization.
  • MIM is a mentoring program that supports MarketStar’s ElevateHER initiative to elevate the stature of women’s leadership in the organization and in our communities. The program focuses on providing consistent and relevant education, networking, and sponsorship opportunities for our female employees. By empowering and inspiring our workforce, we aim to elevate and build strong female leadership at all levels.
  • RockStar honors our top performers in this quarterly recognition program. 8-12 recipients are awarded with three extra days paid leave and $1000 travel voucher each quarter. 
  • StarPerks is our internal employee perks program. The party and fun starts here with activities, online contests, treats, meals, and family parties!

  • Partner Channel: businesses that sell their solutions to other businesses—B2B
  • Direct Sales: selling their solutions directly to customers—either businesses or individuals

Our History

MarketStar has a rich 30-year history which began in 1988 in the basement of Alan Hall’s home in Roy, Utah. We started out as a small temp agency and have transformed into the recognized market- leader in outsourced sales and marketing solutions. Since our beginnings, we have endured as a strategic partner to many of the biggest and brightest brands in the world.

    I applied through college or university. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at MarketStar (Ogden, UT) in March 2018.


    I left an an application with a representative at a Job fair. About a month later I received a call to schedule an interview on a Friday. The interview was in the office on the next Monday and I had an offer on Tuesday.
