  • Marketsmith’s favorite songs to keep you workin’ while social distancing. Everyone has their favorite work playlist. In the days of remote working, MSI collaborated on our favorite “work” songs. On a normal day at Marketsmith, you can find a variety of music being piped through our AirPods, noise-cancelling headphones, and Bluetooth speakers. Now that our team is working remotely as we get through the COVID-19 pandemic, the headphones have come off. In some cases, the microphones and air guitars have come out. Music is a common language. It helps unite us in ways that transcend boundaries; it gives us a chance to forge relationships in a whole new way. We worked together to come up with some of our favorite work songs – yes, songs about work. Our work at Marketsmith is what brought us all together, but it’s music that has allowed us to really get to know one another. Marketsmith Promotes Livingston Resident to Senior Media Operations Specialist

Marketsmith Inc. (MSI), the only woman-owned-and-operated advertising and Martech agency of its kind, has promoted Livingston resident David Le to senior media operations specialist.

Le has previously served MSI, a company built on the belief that technology and humanity are inextricably linked when it comes to creating successful consumer-centric marketing campaigns, as media operations specialist.

“Since he joined our organization, David has immersed himself in a number of key media platforms including Doubleclick, Strata and Advantage, quickly becoming a subject matter expert,” said Gina Callan, senior vice president and director of media at MSI. “During the past six months, he assumed responsibility for the day-to-day operations of our media operations department, and now every single media campaign comes across his desk in one form or another.”

Callan noted that MSI’s media operations department intersects with finance, media, creative and analytics to ensure that all media translates from airings and impressions to usable data for the analytics team, as well as billings for the finance team.

According to MSI, the company’s reputation and business is built on its patented analytics software and human ingenuity, giving the agency and its clients the data and analytics to inform every decision from strategy to media to creative.

 Marketsmith Promotes Michael Kmon to Senior Marketing Analyst

Marketsmith Inc., [MSI] the only woman-owned-and-operated advertising and Martech agency of its kind, has promoted Caldwell resident Michael Kmon to senior marketing analyst. He previously served as marketing associate.

“Mike is an amazing team player and brings a phenomenal attitude with him to work every day,” says Donald Gallant, vice president, analytics and innovation. “He is constantly throwing himself at projects where he leads and presents the work both internally and externally.”

Gallant noted Kmon’s critical thinking abilities and persuasive personality as keys to his success with clients.

Marketsmith Inc., [MSI] the only woman-owned-and-operated advertising and Martech agency of its kind, has promoted Pompton Lakes resident Desiree Maurin to vice president, client performance. She previously served as client performance director.

One More Smith was founded by Amy Allan Smith and Monica C. Smith to give a “forever home” to feral animals and animals rescued from kill shelters. It is One More Smith’s belief that animals should never be euthanized for lack of space or medical issues.

    It is a very good agency that is filled with very talented people all the way through the organization. Overall the company continues to grow and clients are really growing as well. The agency has really demonstrated that they are committed to both the employees and the clients in my opinion. I am so happy to be there.


    No cons at this time. I will say that the company demands you always go above and beyond for the clients. You need to always be ready to give more and do more. I like that is never boring and always busy.

    Met with 4 people over 2 separate interviews. I was asked to give over an email by an administrative assistant ss#, birthdate as so forth. No response after references were checked, and was told that I was highly recommended......HR should be involved a little more. Odd process, have a very bad impression of this company.
