I worked at Mattress Firm full-time
Good pay, easy going job. Some days you may not have not even 1 customer. Good commission and solid base pay
Long days 10-12 hour shifts, required to work 6 days a week
I applied through other source. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Mattress Firm (Saint Louis, MO) in January 2010.
Phone interview with Area Manager then interview with District Manager for hiring. Company employs younger workers for the store culture and public image. Co-workers were generally, in my opinion, not trustworthy with shared personal or company information.
What were you able to negotiate? What advice would you give others considering an offer?
