I worked at Mattress Giant full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Great company up until 2008 when the recession hit- great CEO, great benefits, fair pay, and supportive environment. Corporate office in DFW so had needs handled quickly.

    Cons

After recession, Board fired great CEO and replaced him with man who only wanted to sell off the company. No good decision made after that- poor management hires, poor advertising campaigns, poor money decisions, etc. Weren't paying rent at many store locations!

The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Mattress Giant in July 2009.

    Interview

I brought my resume into one of their stores and I was called only a couple of days later by their hiring recruiter. We made an appointment the next day during which she gave me a phone interview. She asked typical questions such as why I wanted to work at Mattress Giant and why I left my last employer.
