I worked at Mayo Performing Arts as an intern (Less than a year)
-They allowed interns to sit in on meetings
- The employees truly care that the interns are learning something during their internship. Everyone I met with at MPAC this summer were friendly and were willing to give advice on my particular field
- my supervisor left a lot during the day. I mostly dealt with her assistant who helped me a lot but I would have liked to have more interaction with my supervisor.
I applied online. I interviewed at Mayo Performing Arts (Morristown, NJ).
Interviewed with two people. The woman made it obvious from the moment she laid eyes on me that I wouldn't get the job. She practically sneered at me and looked down her nose at me the whole time. I probably wasn't young enough for the position, judging by the rest of the employees on LinkedIn. (I am in my 40s).
