I worked at McCain full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

A lot of benefits. Starting from time off and pay offs. They work with you in any situation and very safety stricted.

    Cons

The only thing is that they work 12 hour shift but it isn't bad when you see the pay offs.

    Advice to Management

    Awesome well done job

    Difficult Interview

    Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at McCain (Vista, CA) in April 2017.

    Interview

Contacted by recruiter who set up a phone interview with the manager.
Email of experience questions and job application packet followed.
Arrived for interview 5 minutes early and was unable to find the main entrance. Entered building via loading dock and was taken to the front office by helpful employee.
Waited in the lobby for almost 20 minutes as hiring manager looked for people to come attend the interview.
    On-site 90 minute 4 person interview followed.
Interview was unorganized and one person in the room had not seen my resume before entering the room. I had worked for one of their competitors and they did ask some technical questions. Extensive use of internal jargon for interview questions which made following the questions very hard. Interviewers got sidetracked into side conversations about what the role would entail.
At the end of the interview, I was given about 3 minutes to ask questions about the position and the company before the hiring manager said he was already late for his next meeting and could not answer any further questions.
I had lots of questions about the company especially the 90 day trial period during which there were no benefits including health insurance. This is not what I expect from a technical position.
    No follow-up on their part.
Probably just as well since I would have said no after hearing about the company.
